“Lionel accommodated our extra request to stop to buy local food. Though our room was on the ground floor, Lionel still helped with our luggage. The location had a lot of fruit trees and wild chickens which were refreshing and reminded us of our island roots. Lionel responded to our many questions about Antigua and his property.”

“Very affordable accommodation, it is basic but clean and was perfect as a base for watching the test match. Buses are just a 10 minute walk away to get into St Johns or English Harbour, Lionel is a great host and airport pick up and drop offs were a big plus. Taxis to and from the beaches mount up each day but if you are an experienced traveller this is a great base location and allows you to enjoy Antigua at the fraction of the cost of the beachside hotels and apartments.”

“Great value and able to accommodate a group of us. Host Lionel was happy to do an airport pick up and for a small fee took us to the cricket each day. Very green location and had a lounge and kitchen and fridge so could cook for ourselves.”

“The hosts – Lionel and his wife were outstanding. They were very obliging with any requests such as lending us extra kitchen utensils, towels, etc as requested. Lionel collected and dropped us off to the airport and helped us with our luggage. They were very helpful and were great to give recommendations of places to visit on the island.
The location is very central giving an equal distance to all parts of the island. We were also able to hire a car at their accommodation and I later learnt that their daily rate was better than other car hire locations!”

“It is located close to the airport, and is actually in the center of the island and very easy to get in any direction from the location. The owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. He gave a complimentary pickup from the airport. The room was clean, spacious and very cool whether in the day or at night. The ceiling fans were amazingly quiet and effective (thinking I need some of my own), no need for the A/C during that time of the year. They were screens on the windows so there were no uninvited winged guests (mosquitoes nor birds). The view of part of the country was good. There was coffeemaker, plates, teacups, cutlery, a saucepan and frying pan and refrigerator in the kitchenette.”

This property was clean and comfortable. In my opinion a bit secluded tho. However, We truly enjoyed the two nights I spent here. The host Lionel was friendly and accommodating. He made us feel lije family from the very first night. Even trusted us enough that when we checked and asked about paying him he said the next morning. The next morning came and went and payment never happened until our departure.

I would highly recommend this place especially if you want to be away from everything else.

Right when we landed they had a complimentary taxi ride from the airport to the villa. After that we came into our beautiful place of living and were amazed with the WiFi service and hospitality. The scenery was perfect, and they had all the necessary equipment for cooking in the kitchen. The sheets were clean, the place just felt extremely friendly.

We recently returned from a one month stay at the Lamblion and were totally impressed with the hospitality and general cleanliness of the facility. The location is in the center of the island away from the noise and bustle of the resort areas, one requires a car (Lionel can arrange a rental if required ). The majority of the beaches (300 plus) are approximately 20 minutes in any direction. Antigua is an expensive island to visit, staying at this facility makes the trip a lot more economical.

Stayed here with friends and really enjoyed our stay. Lionel made us feel very welcome and even picked us up from the airport. The apartment was always spotless after it was cleaned. Situated central in the island which is great if you rent a car. A short walk to the bus stop which also makes it easy to get around
