CHOGM 2026 at a glance
The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2026 is hosted by Antigua and Barbuda from 1 to 4 November 2026, with St John’s as the host city. The theme is “Accelerating partnerships and investment for a prosperous Commonwealth”. Alongside the Leaders’ meeting there are Youth, Women’s, People’s and Business forums and a programme of side events. Where LambLion is, and how long it takes to reach CHOGM
We are on Freemans Main Road, Belleview Estate, in the centre of Antigua, between the villages of Sea View Farm and Freemans Village. That central position is the whole point for CHOGM: you are not stuck at one end of the island, and most of the places you will need are a short drive away.

Getting around during CHOGM
- Official CHOGM transport: the organisers will run transport between official accommodation and venues within designated transport zones from 1 to 4 November, with schedules and pick-up points shared closer to the event. Check the official transportation page or email transportation@chogm26.gov.ag.
- Your own car: we have free on-site parking, and we can help you arrange a rental car. Antigua drives on the left.
- Taxis: licensed taxis in Antigua have yellow plates. Ask us and we will help you book one.
- Security zone: the organisers have described a restricted “Red Zone” around upper High Street in St John’s. Plan drop-off points with your delegation.

Why self-catering works so well for CHOGM
CHOGM days are long and unpredictable. Sessions overrun, briefings move, and you may get back at 10pm wanting a proper meal, not a room-service menu. A kitchen means you can eat what you like, when you like, and keep breakfast simple on early starts. A separate living room means calls and late drafting do not have to happen on the end of a bed. And a garden full of fruit trees and herbs is a good place to decompress between sessions.

Cancellation terms for CHOGM dates (as shown in our booking system on 24 October 2026): cancel between 25 and 30 October and the first night is charged; cancel on or after 31 October and 50% of the stay is charged; a no-show is charged the first two nights. You will see the exact terms for your dates before you pay, and we confirm everything in writing.

Arriving in Antigua for CHOGM: a practical checklist
- Entry form: every visitor must complete the online entry form at ArriveAntigua.com before travel. The organisers note it works on mobile devices only.
- Visas: citizens of the UK, EU, Commonwealth countries, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and many others do not need a visa for short visits. Check the official immigration guidance for your passport.
- Accreditation: follow the instructions from your delegation or the official CHOGM accreditation team.
- Money: the currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC$), and US dollars are widely accepted.
- Phone and data: local SIM and eSIM plans are sold by Digicel, Flow and inet. Our Wi-Fi covers you at the apartment.
- Weather: expect around 27 to 28°C in early November. Pack light clothes, mosquito repellent and reef-safe sunscreen.
