LambLion is not a chain or a resort. It is a family business, owned and managed by a local husband-and-wife team. Lionel and Lorilyn Walker are local Antiguans, and LambLion Holiday Apartments is theirs: 11 apartments, a garden full of fruit trees and herbs, and a way of doing things that puts guests, neighbours and the environment first.

A place for renewal and restoration
Lionel and Lorilyn describe what they want LambLion to be in simple terms: a place for renewal and restoration, where guests can experience the authentic Antigua. That shows up in the small things. The apartments sit in the quiet countryside in the middle of the island, between the villages of Sea View Farm and Freemans Village, away from the resort strips. Guests are welcome to wander the gardens, pick herbs and fruit, and simply breathe.
Family hospitality, the Antiguan way
Staying at a family-run property means you deal with the owners, not a call centre. Ask Lionel and Lorilyn where they shop, how to get to the beach you have heard about, or how to arrange a hire car or an airport transfer, and you get a straight, local answer. Guests often tell us they feel at home here, and that is exactly the point.
Looking after the island
LambLion is Green Globe certified, and sustainability is part of everyday life here rather than a sign on the wall:
- Solar panels produce up to half of the property’s daily power, and solar water heaters handle all the hot water
- Rainwater harvesting, storage and wastewater recycling meet most of the property’s water needs
- Garden and kitchen waste is composted for the organic garden
- LED lighting, motion sensors and ENERGY STAR appliances cut energy use
- A volunteer “Green Team” meets monthly to review progress and plan new ideas

Part of the community
LambLion employs people from the surrounding community and takes part in local projects. The family supports Sea View Farm Primary School, including Earth Day activities that help students care for the environment, and LambLion is a member of the Antigua and Barbuda Horticultural Society, which works to make the islands greener and to support food security through plants.
