Lamblion Holiday Apartment gets help from Caribbean Export for Solar PV installation. This was as a result of the Call for Proposal that was released by Caribbean Export in May 2018. Here is a copy of the release:
“The Caribbean Export Development Agency is accepting proposals for grant funding under our Direct Assistance Grant Scheme (DAGS).
DAGS is funded by the European Union under the 11th EDF Regional Private Sector Development Programme. Designed to support established businesses with strong potential to export their products and services, DAGS is your opportunity to receive the necessary funding to support your business’ growth and development.
The grant allows you to be reimbursed to a maximum of 70% of the total value of your project and this is capped at 50,000 Euros. The minimum grant amount that can be applied for is 10,000 Euros.”
Lamblion Holiday Apartment chose to install two (2) 5KW PV system with Grid Tied String inverters.
After 2 years of operation the Solar PV Systems, has saved Lamblion Holiday Apartments over 30 Mega Watts Hour of energy, It prevents over 20 Tons of CO2 from getting into our atmosphere. This grant allowed Lamblion organization to press ahead with other projects that are environmentally sustainable.
